Delaney Safety LLC provides leadership, direction and guidance to C-Suite teams down to field teams. We specialize in working at the Program-Level for Safety and Safety and Security, but offer other types of services, including:

  • Evaluating Safety Programs including Cal/OSHA Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP), Corporate Safety Manuals, Code of Safe Practices, Training, and Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policies.

  • Evaluating Safety Programs for field activities such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), Field Safety Audits and Reporting, Accident and Incident Reporting Processes, Hazard Mitigations, Root Cause, and Corrective Actions.

  • Updating program policies, procedures and plans.

  • Review of Contractor/Subcontractor Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP), Corporate Safety Manuals, and other required documents for adherence to programs and projects at all levels.

  • Review of Safety Programs prior to proposal submittals utilizing RFPs and Cal/OSHA standards and practices.

  • Review of corporate Code of Safe Practices to ensure compliance in accordance to company Scope of Work (SOW), RFP-specific Scope of Work (SOW), and Cal/OSHA standards and practices.

  • Producing and updating Safety Policies, Procedures and Processes.

  • Writing and producing construction Site-Specific Safety Plans working with Project Management.

  • Attendance and representation of Safety compliance at Pre-Construction, Program-Level, Project-Level and Executive Leadership meetings.

  • Oversight of Contractor safety tasks, roles and responsibilities including adherence to contract requirements.

  • Auditing of client Contractors/Subcontractors for safety compliance on programs and projects.

  • Auditing of Contractors/Subcontractors for safety management compliance.

  • Assisting in overseeing corporate Risk Management Programs.

  • Attending Cal/OSHA permit enforcement conferences for safety representation and compliance, as needed.

  • Overseeing Safety Programs for Contractors/Subcontractors.

  • Producing and implementing corporate Safety Plans of Action.

  • Analyzing incidents and near miss statistical reporting utilizing client safety systems.

  • Conducting safety and security audits from the Program-Level and Project-Level for compliance and adherence to contract requirements and deliverables.

  • Producing a corporate Call-Tree Matrix for chain of communication during an incident, emergency or critical incident.

  • Assistance with writing Cal/OSHA Emergency Action Plans.

OTHER EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Partnering with internal groups for Safety compliance such as Legal, Right-of-Way and Environmental.

  • Member of safety and security regional committees.

  • Performing incident investigations and reporting.

  • Creating Safety Committees.

  • Implementing company-wide safety culture.

  • Working directly with federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), which includes the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).

  • Partnering with local, state and Federal agencies for compliance.

  • Working with specialty Contractors.

  • Collaborating with local First Responders on multibillion-dollar infrastructure projects.

  • Meeting project-specific deadlines for deliverables and project bids.

  • Maintaining and implementing Cal/OSHA regulations and requirements for organizational commitment to safety.

  • Partnering with Cal/OSHA Consultation as necessary for prevention of incidents.

  • Facilitating and coordinating in-house safety training.
